I've been shopping for a TV for my room, and from the research that I've done, I think it's pretty funny how companies are overpricing LED-Edge lit TV's, and how people don't know the difference between the two and still overpay. From what I've heard, there is minimal picture difference and people are basically paying for a thinner TV and maybe a slight power saving. For months, I've tried to compare LED Edge Lit moniters with standard LCD screens, and had a hard time finding a difference in the two.
LED Full Array (or Backlit/TruLED/etc.), on the other hand, looks great from what I've observed. I think the deep blacks and very white whites are spectacular on the Bravia's and Samsungs...About as good as top of the line plasma's. I wanted to see who here owns these types of LED TV's, and their opinions on them.
