Here is a list of a couple of possible draft picks the lakers could pick up this year in the second round, or if they can find their way into the first round.
Jujuan Johnson
Cory Joseph
Jon Diebler
Marshon Brooks
Nolan Smith- fingers crossed
Keith Bensen
Jermy Tyler
Jon Leuer
David Lighty
Scottie Hopson
Isiah Thomas
Here are just a few of the guys that might help us add some strength to our bench next season. It would be nice to have a young athletic, defensive minded bench who can run play a more uptempo game, wear teams out, and help us maintain some leads . I think Nolan Smith or Cory Joseph could start for us if we can find a way to get them.
Some of these other guys like Jujuan Johnson, or Isiah Thomas would be great energy guys off the bench. Plus, now that Phil is gone, I hope Mike Brown can use our young guys a little more, and find a way to help them be productive for us.

Most of these guys feel our basic needs, which at this point I think woul be,
Point Gaurd- Athlete, that can shoot, pass, and run a team- Thomas and Joseph are good fits, N. Smith could start for us if we can move up to get him.
Shooting Gaurd- It would be nice to find a pure scorer, and solid defender that can come off the bench and give Kobe some rest. I would love to pick up O.J. Mayo
but finding a pure scorer somewhere in the draft would be nice, even if he is from overseas.
Backup Power Forwar/Center- I would love to have a young athletic, guy that is full of hustle and defense coming off the bench to give us energy. Johnson I think could fit that mode.

I'm hoping for Andrew Goudelock with one of our second round picks.
