I like it. How much is it going to cost? For tablets to start competing with the iPad competitors need to lower there price a lot IMO.

It's going to be the same prices fir same storage prices as iPad 2. They were going to undercut by $100 but then worried the consumer would think well why is it so much cheaper? Must not be as good. Like comparing cheap cars to nice luxury ones

Yeah that's true.I was reading about it & most people said it's going to be competing for 3rd place with Blackberry behind Apple & Android. I like this better than the Xoom tho.

I think it'll take 2nd cuz android tablets are kinda lame. It will easily out sell playbook cuz blackberry copied HP webOS cards and gestures but messed up big time lol.

Once word of mouth gets out it will sell cuz webOS is the closest thing to using something like a regular computer with the multitasking. But depending on if they get enough apps will decide how it does.

EDIT: Updated OG post with a real good full review of the features the TouchPad has. Especially the Touch To Share towards the end of the video.

The more videos i watch and more articles I read makes me miss my webOS phone more n more. I really miss the wireless charging I had for the past 2 years with it.

Well, this is going to have to either 1) Have more/better features than the Ipad, or 2) be a lot cheaper.

Otherwise, what are they bringing to the table that hasn't already been brought?

True Multitasking, Touch to Share, Wireless charging, the best notification system available, the ability to forward/answer/reply to calls & text messages from your webOS phone to the tablet, a OS that is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to ease of use but powerful features.

I seen a couple rest are like 7/10. The shortage of apps is killing this so bad. It needed Netflix and other major apps at launch. Apps will come though it has over 2000 at launch so that's way more than Xoom had lol.

I played with one at best buy and webOS is so sick on it. But I was never intending on buying this. I'd rather wait till touchpad2 when they have all the bugs ironed out.

The browser is comparable to a regular computer browser though it's so sick. Especially with flash, full 1080p YouTube runs great and hulu too. But just like when the first iPad came out you cab tell this needs some updates.

HP said updates coming during first week or so.

The Beats audio is real good too. Even without headphones the stereo speakers sound real good. I bet with good headphones music sounds crazy on there.

This is the best most thorough unbiased review, but it's long lol

Yea HP announced they aren't making anymore devices so they are trying to sell all the stock out. The webOS software will still be supported & updated obviously though.
