First it was Odom, now it's Artest as well...
Makes me angry!!! They are basketball players, not reality stars. Whatever they do post-nba, who cares, but as long as they're getting paid 7-9 million per year to play in the yellow jerseys, that is what they should focus on. I do not care if Artest's tv-show is about getting people a second shot. They should be playing basketball!!!!!!!
They're currently nothing but distractions, which is exaclty what the Lakers DO NOT need. The Head Office should make an example of the two, and trade their asses!!!!!
This would work: http://games.espn.go...tradeId=3wwumup
Artest for Baron Davis and Rudy Gay for Lamar Odom.
Cleveland saves money and Baron Davis need a big market to play well, which he still can. Better than Fish and Blake, at least.
Memphis saves money, and they made it to the conference finals without Rudy Gay, and Odom can play 3-4-5. Lakers get a legit starting 3.
I know it's a stretch, but I really do not think they have the needed focus to be on a contending team.
