Bargnani - Pau with 3 point shooting range
Calderon - great ball handler, consistent 3 point shooter, same defense and better passer than blake (9 assists per game last season)
Kleiza - Can put up good numbers off the bench

We get upgrade on PG
Klezia can play the PF position
Odom can start
Bargnani 6th man center

Calderon/Fisher
Bryant/Brown
Artest/Barnes/Klezia
Odom/Klezia
Bynum/Bargnani

I would rather watch a 3 hour special of Pau getting circumsized than have to put with Andrea Bargnani

The most crazy trade i have seen in a long time.

Bargnani is sure as hell NOT Pau with 3-pt range. Pau is a two-time champion and a top 15 player in the league. Bargnani barely makes top 50.

Pau should not be traded unless you can get a current or future superstar (Howard, Griffin, Wall, Durant, Lebron etc).

Bargnani is better offensively than Pau. He will put up twenty anywhere. Anytime. I wonder what him Odom Bynum Kobe and Calderon would look like. Not a fit for our coach but not horrible

Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

A little bit crazy - Actually Toronto did offer Bargnani and Calderon to the Lakers for Pau - but the Lakers declined.
I have actually softened my stance a bit as both Bargnani and Calderon are playing wery well.
Still wouldn't do it.

Calderon is a good upgrade at the point, but Bargnani is too much of a downgrade from Gasol to warrant the trade. While Gasol isn't a great defender by any means, he is still much better than Bargnani. More importantly, Gasol is a good rebounder and one of the most talented post players in the league.

Calderon/Bargnani isn't worth splitting up the two bigs.
