I want some stories about the Great Western Forum. Since I'm so young, my only story is going there once as a kid and once again a couple years back, when the Lakers came back for the first time in however many years for a pre-season game. The place had gone to hell, but I wanna know what it was like in its glory days.

I believe Fido and Lakers_55 have been Laker fans since the early 80s, i'm sure they'll fill you in here. I think they were season ticket holders at the Forum.

I went to school literally across the street from the Forum.. always saw players roll into the Forum when I had to stay in after-school care. the traffic was ridiculous lol
