making the roster is not about scoring points which is pretty much all giles did except for some decent defensive plays

it is about showing discipline, showing the willingness to learn, doing what the coaches tell you, fitting a need on the team, playing smart

CJ giles did none of those things the few times he touched the ball he with no hesitation threw the ball up at the rim did not run any semblance of the offense or play with any discipline

to add to that he plays a position we are completely filled at we have what 4 SFs 3 PFs about 4 centers (including people who can play multiple positions)

at PG we have 2 and in all honesty neither has shown the ability to defend quick guards

whoever makes the team will not get much playing time if at all

heath fits a need and in all honesty seems to have more potential and more chance to stay on this team for more than 1 year

good point. But so far from what ive seen from Giles he bring another post defedner and how many of those do we have. 1,2. Pau is not that sound defensively and all we have is Bynum. And what were we missing last year in the finals. That post defense. He solves a small need and im sure he would get playing time.

He only through those shots up because he had a good shot at them. And you cant say he wasnt running the offense cause when he was on there were like 3 new players and i doubt any of them have the offense down. Anybody who is first introuduced to the triangle offense will not pick it up in one day. Im sure that with time he wont be putting up those shots according to you.
