Personally i would choose Giles cause yesterday he showed me that he has a decent shot and can play really good defense. It might have been for a short spurt but he seems pretty good and we could use that extra SF/PF(thats what position he seemed to be playing)
same here giles all da way

he flat out gets to the basket and is a scorer who ran the offense
you guys are fooled by Giles who was just shooting to shoot to make a roster spot he wasn't running the offense at all
brandon heat simply seems more willing to be a laker and learn the offense
who knows though

because giles is a center/pf not a pg lol
well i'm glad you know the triangle offense because last time i checked its called the triple post offense and it can be run through a centers hands and a power fowards hands
pau gasol
shaq
lamar odom
andrew bynum
horace grant
MJ
kobe
scottie pippen
have all run the offense before mostly out of the post
and when Giles touched the ball he turned and shot kind of like von wafer a couple years ago
but ok
you got me i'm glad you have even a basic knowledge of the offense we have run here for what almost 8 years
nice try to make a joke though but you simply ended up making yourself look unknowledgeable about your team
so heres a big
LOL
because most Laker fans know hell most basketball fans should know that running an offense is not only done by a PG
again though nice try
also to further show how little basketball you seem to know an offense is usually run by 3 players sometimes even all 5 yet according to you only PGs run an offense
our offense consists of alot of cuts to the basket off of posts well last time i checked derek fisher rarely posts up meaning hes not running the offense while kobe, odom, gasol, bynum frequent in the post but wait none of them are PGs hmmmm i wonder
now we have CJ Giles who out of the post chucked up shot after shot not once looking to pass to a cutter or kick the ball out for re-post he simply shot the ball
oh and if you wonder why i got so mad well its because you tried to discredit my basketball knowledge by trying to be funny and saying
because he is a C/PF not a PG hahahaha
well if you try to make someone look stupid you shouldn't make yourself look it in the process

Here's a big LOL for overreacting again.
And yeah, Giles will probably have that last spot. Wanna see what he can do in the rest of the preseason games though.

We need another guard on the team. We don't need another SF/PF on the team because our team is loaded with SF/PF's.
I like Giles, but I'd rather have a guard instead of another forward on the team. Giles can play in the D-League.

smartest post of the entire thread
we have
mihm
gasol
odom
powell
mbenga
walton
ariza
radmonovic
at the front court
we have
kobe
sasha
fisher
farmar
yue
at the guards the rest and thats 2 PGs unless you consider sun yue a PG which i do not because i don't think hes quick enough to defend the chris pauls and tony parkers we need that 3rd PG so IMO brandon heath has to be the guy by far
