so i played this extensively ( friend brings it over everyday) and im so glad i didnt buy this game, it is so much like MW2, its basically robbery that activision is charging $60 for DLC

the only differences i see is new "point streaks" and new maps, thats it..everything else is just a copy/paste....the sounds + loadscreens are the same..even the initial start screen is the same, its crazy

If you notice the majority of the maps are similar to MW1 and MW2. There almost identical.

Got this today off a co-worker for $10 in exchange for letting him borrow season 4 of Breaking Bad on blu-ray.

I've played 1 and 2 extensively w/o getting too involved with multiplayer if that makes sense...didn't really play multiplayer on any PS3 game for that matter until Black Ops.

I might get online with this one though, at least a little, although after having played Battlefield 3 since launch and absolutely loving it i don't exactly how much i'll do MW3, especially after getting BF3 Premium.

So far in the campaign i'm in the Africa level. Liking it so far, the New York levels were pretty dope too. Classic Call Of Duty non-stop action presented like a Michael Bay-esque film.

Graphics look virtually the same as MW2, i think the same engine was used, just slightly modified, etc. Guns handle alright. Sound is pretty good. BF3 and Frostbite 2.0 FTW tho, BF3 is an amazing looking and sounding game.

But so far, MW3 campaign>BF3 campaign, at least through the first hour/hour and a half or so.

Now back to BF3 to take advantage of that Double XP Week

Played a single match of TDM, went 6-8, hated it tbh. Movements aren't like fluid at all, feels outdated.

Still have to get used to the weapon edit/selection system and XP system. Nothing like Black Ops, and since i didn't play MP on MW2, idk how it works yet.

Not impressed so far. Like Black Ops MP better.

Looks like i'm making the switch to the Battlefield franchise for good now. Makes it official. Gameplay is just superior, and the graphics are dope as well.

yea, its a good thing you got it for only $10 because it sucks

that game is such a spray and pray fest online, its ridiculous

im so glad i didnt buy that game, and i agree, black ops online was better, it was more balanced imo

I'm glad i didn't get it at launch either.

Just feels so sluggish to me, like I said earlier, it feels, looks and plays outdated.

Most definitely not getting Black Ops 2 either. Not a big sci-fi fan when it comes to video games tbh. Plus i doubt gameplay changes much, and they'll be using the same engine as Black Ops, just slightly modified.
