Dwight Howard shoots a noob toob, no one cares. Kobe does it and we need sports TV asking if it was a bad move.

I remember this. I remember ESPN having a panel of NBA analysts and discussing whether or not it was a bad move by Kobe to make a cameo on a COD commercial.

Media being the Media I guess.

Few months ago this game was a MUST have, I was gonna pre-order it for sure, but now i'm not so excited, currently playing BF3, barely started on the MP, and i'm liking it alot, I'll stick with it til next year probably.

Also I wanna get Uncharted 2, beat it, and move on to Uncharted 3. No time for MW3.

The more I hear that COD is just the same game, the less I hear Battlefield accused of being the same.

What changes has Battlefield made? Especially from BFBC2 to BF3? Plans? New mini-map? You're able to go prone? I love the game, but it's not like it's some forever evolving genre.

Battlefield 3 is what PC gamers have been dying for since BF2. Bad Company is a mere hold over for the true fans of DiCE. BF3 see's infantry and vehicle combat on a far, far larger scale of BC and CoD. The ability to go prone is huge and the inclusion of jet warfare is massive. BF3 is not the sequel to BC2 but BF2 which came out in 2005 - so you can hardly say that they're milking the franchise. The only reason they made Bad Company, was so the consoles wouldn't feel out of the loop.

I had a bit of a similar sentiment. IMO they should have held CODXP MUCH, MUCH closer to the release date. I was so hyped around that time and even though I know I'm going to play the hell out of the game tomorrow, I don't have the same anxiousness for it as I did for even BF3.

But they game play is pretty much the exact change from BC as it is to BF3. The guns feel the same. The players have the same motions. The only real things that stick out in terms of game play (save vehicles) are going prone and the manner in which they hurdle over obstacles. They changed the knifing system into the stupidest and worst knifing system I have ever seen and throwing grenades is ridiculous. Can't cook them? WTH? They added more equipment and more guns. And the Jet game play has been underwhelming IMO. Helicopters are much more effective in game play than jets could ever hope to be.

I think the knifing is okay. (Looks back at my Counter Strike days). It does feel a bit different than one hit knife from CoD though.

I don't understand why people feel the need to stand in line to get the game. Is it really that hard to wait till the next morning? I'll go get my copy at 10 am with no line thank you very much!

if you didn't like MW2 doubt you'll like this one.

in the few games I played I could see a difference in the kill streak rewards.

i liked MW2 thought it was fun but imbalanced. Liked BO but thought it got boring way too quick. Don't think I'm going to pull the trigger on this one.

^ yea, one of the main reasons i didnt like MW2 was the killstreaks that were going off every other minute, that got old, esp when you played solo in pubs (with no friends)

ill probably get this when the price goes down

A friend of mine posted a video on facebook showing that MW3 kept some of the SAME buildings as MW2 had. Lol..

Same buildings from COD4 too. Don't know why it's such a big deal. Only reason it's brought up is because of the people that hate the game. Mostly BF3 fan boys.

There is literally no reason that it should even be brought up.

I like the game so far. Was in line with what I was expecting. I didn't expect a big difference from MW2-3. I like the new weapons and equipment.

So far the only thing I'm disappointed in is Elite. DLC is going to make or break Elite JMO.
