so what are point streaks? i dont plan on getting this game since it looks like the other games and im happy with black ops, but what are point streaks?

It gives you credit towards your streak when completing part of the objective. I imagine capping a flag in domination is worth one, planting the bomb is worth one, etc.

So capping 3 flags and getting 2 kills without dying would be a 5 kill streak.

This is why I'm getting the hardened. I've bought all the map packs on ops. at 15$ a pop it adds up. I play CoD a ton so I hope it pays for it's self.

Oh it will. I'm especially excited about the Clan support.

I reserved/paid for my copy today. Got the standard edition with elite. Hardened was sold out. It's OK, I'll be happy as long as I don't have to pay for no DLC.

Heard that a truck in France was stolen with 6000 copies of MW3 inside. Wow.

Call of Duty has basically been the exact same experience since CoD 4 - Activision is just milking it for all it's worth and because of that it's lost all forms of its innovation.

never played 4. I liked MW2 and I really enjoy black ops(maps have a lot to do with this).

I play mostly because its fun, for me it's still fun.

We all know what company is the worst when it comes to video games. EA.

I hope call of duty doesn't go all madden on us.

CoD has competition forcing it to try and get better. So I have hope.

The more I hear that COD is just the same game, the less I hear Battlefield accused of being the same.

What changes has Battlefield made? Especially from BFBC2 to BF3? Plans? New mini-map? You're able to go prone? I love the game, but it's not like it's some forever evolving genre.

well i think the main difference is, the BF series doesnt have a new game coming out every year (bad company was just tech demos imo, testing the new engine for BF3), whereas COD has had a game on the market every year since 2007 i believe. Yes they have two different developers for them (infinity ward/treyarch) but to the average gamer, the only thing they see is "COD" so its not that weird imo that people think the games dont change much

but imo, its true, i consider myself a hardcore COD player (ive spent over 30hrs online in each game), and these games are all becoming the same, they dont change enough to warrant a yearly purchase, to me MW3 looks like a glorified MW2 map pack, just with new killstraks (dont even bring up the campaign, cuz nobody buys COD to play the campaign)

COD 4 is the best imo, thats the most balanced one

Dwight Howard shoots a noob toob, no one cares. Kobe does it and we need sports TV asking if it was a bad move.
