He said this on Inside the NBA right now. I know that Nowitzki's a great player, but I think that Gasol actually does a decent job on him. I think that Odom and Bynum are less effective on him, but Dirk seems like he could be roughed up a bit to take him out of his game. I like Barkley's opinion sometimes, but am not so sure about this one.

Edit: Looks like he just picked Dallas to win in 6 games over us.

I'm not surprised he said that. He doesn't think Kobe will be much of an impact player and Stevenson and Marion will make him work. He basically said that LA has no one to guard Dirk at all and that will be their downfall.

How many times has this guy picked against the Lakers? I remember he picked Orlando to win 2 years ago. I think he doesn't like the Lakers.

What a tool. Dallas doesn't have anyone to guard Kobe while Lamar or Pau can at least contain/slow down Dirk. Bynum/Pau will dominate inside. Also LOL @ him saying Mavs have more advantages when they have maybe one. I don't think they even have one Dirk/Pau is pretty much a wash if you ask me. Lakers have three clear advantages. Kobe over Marion/Stevenson, Lamar over whoever is guarding him and Bynum over Chandler/Haywood.

Lakers in 6.

When we foul Haywood in this series, Drew or whoever needs to make sure he doesn't get any and 1s. Wrap him up or whatever. Make him earn it at the line. He is an absolutely terrible free throw shooter. And Charles has picked against us in basically every round I can remember except the first round and maybe last year in the semis against Utah. He can keep picking against us that's fine. We need to go out there and worry about ourselves and make sure we take care of home court from the get-go. The Mavs are an excellent road team.

I can't think of reason why someone would want a tattoo of Abraham Lincoln. Ever.

Barkley doesn't think before he talks. He likes to be just as surprised as everyone else by what comes out of his mouth.

Lamar usually does a good job against Dirk.
