Step 1: Get lead.

Step 2: Don't blow lead.

Step 3: Win.

We need to win the next two games to re-establish ourselves. This is the first step. Feed the post, run through Bynum, and then Kobe should finish them off. We need to get Artest going like he was in the first round, the bench to step up, and for the real Pau Gasol to show up for once.

Must win, 0-2 deficit would be almost impossible to overcome. How frustrating it is to lose Game 1 again!

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Not a must win. We're the champs and can easily beat Dallas four straight times.

Pau Gasol is GONE

we NEED to win this. I just have a weird feeling Dallas will play their hearts out just to win this game so they can be up 2-0

being down 2-0 would be scary :(

We have to move on from last loss. I think PJ should try to get Bynum guarding Nowitzki because he would be way much more effective than Pau. At least Bynum admitted that he played bad and will try to step up.
If we won't blow out leads as usual and
if Pau will play half as good as his lil' bro we'll beat them.

There's gold and it's haunting and haunting; it's luring me on as of old; Yet it isn't the gold that I'm wanting So much as just finding the gold; It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder, It's the forest where silence has lease; It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder, It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

dallas wont shoot 50% from 3 again, bynum wont have a bad game, corey brewer will stay on the bench where he belongs, and the lakers will take games 2 and 3, lose game 4 but win 5 and 6

That's very hard to do. The NBA is all about runs and we have all grown accustomed to this team blowing leads for years.

would stick bynum to chandler to prevent the mavs from getting the offensive boards. and he would tear a ligament on his knee guarding dirk. he would have to cover him and you can't trust pau as an anchor because you know what's gonna happen.

it's not hard if you do what you're supposed to do on offense and play defense. Those are things that the Lakers don't do when they get big leads. Also add to that the fact that we have a terrible bench who can't keep a lead to save their lives.

Pau Gasol is GONE

That's very true on both accounts, and I agree. I guess a part of me is just anxiously waiting for that moment when the Lakers will finally wake up this season and stay true to their words of becoming more consistent and focused lol.

Anyways, today is the day that the Lakers can not, and will not disappoint.
