No road wins for the series either because,
Tyson Chandler 7'-1", 240lbs
Dirk Nowitzki 7'-0", 245lbs
Brendan Haywood 7'0" 265lbs
They have the size and length that truly only them and the Lakers have.
Cuban built them that way by adding Chandler to the roster to compete with Drew, Pau and LO on the boards and neutralize their inside presence.
Its naive to ignore the truth. Their solid down low as are we. The paint numbers are going to be pretty even over the series.
Its gonna come down to FT's and 3 pointers every night.
Who makes most wins each game.

As much as Pau struggled this last series, there is no way you can sayLakers in 7.

Odom Bynum Pau = Chandler Dirk Haywood.
To start off, Haywood is complete trash. Garbage. All Mavs fans trash him for being pretty useless. He gets beat up by every big down low and he can't do anything with the basketball on his offense if his life depended on it.
Tyson Chandler could have his way with Pau in this series, but not with Bynum, and that's the matchup that he will have. Bynum is far better than Chandler on the offensive end, and is just a tad bit better on his defensive end, just because of his ability to block shots as a second help defender.
Dirk will eat us up all series, but that's what super stars do. I'll expect Pau to take advantage of Dirk and Haywood in the post, but to be beat by Dirks jumpshot all through the series. Odom is great for guarding Dirk, if he mans up then we can count on Dirk getting tired from guarding Odom on his pick and rolls.
Lakers in 6. Move on to play the Thunder who will beat the Grizz in 6 or 7.
LET'S GO LAKE SHOW

Size-wise, I suppose they match up when comparing height. But talent-wise? We destroy Dallas' frontline. Not one of their big men can stop Bynum in the post, and I don't think any of them can match up with Odom either.
As long as we play our game and don't fall into a shootout (which is exactly what Dallas wants), this should be an easy series. We match up too well with Dallas.

They got no one to cover LO so he should have a great series.

This might be the last series with home court advantage. TAKE ADVANTAGE LAKERS
Other than the 100% chance that they have homecourt advantage in the western conference finals, I agree completely.

Lakers in 5, and I predict at least 2 of the wins aren't close. The Mavs are good, but much like Utah in years past, they don't have a long term answer to the Lakers size over the course of the series and will be handled relatively easily, especially since they lack tons of speed and athletic players. Definitely a good matchup for the Lakers.
