The Lakers are expected to shift Kobe Bryant to small forward on Tuesday night in their first game of the preseason.

Bryant shifts to small forward, with Derek Fisher sliding over to shooting guard, and Lamar Odom moving from small forward to point guard.

Los Angeles big men Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum will take the court for the first time on Tuesday when the Lakers battle the Jazz.

We already have. He played SF the first 2 years since Phil came back. The only difference is that Lamar isn't gonna play the Scottie Pippen Role at PF like he did the past 2 years. He's gonna be playing the off guard now.

Nobody its gonna be out. Most likely the same line up. Only difference is that Kobe will still guard the SG's and Lamar will still guard the SF's on the defensive end. That's if Drew isn't coming off the bench by the regular season.

As a matter of fact, I'm seeing ALOT of position changes at different times possible if Phil and the coaching staff can handle it....

No way it stays that way.

No way Phil brings Bynum off the bench for any significant period of time...


Pau and Bynum will play together in the starting lineup.
Kobe and Fish will play together in the starting lineup.

Offense will go thru Kobe or Pau.

Everyone else will either fit or move.
