That is why I like that they've changed things from the books.

They change some, but they keep the general outline.

Maybe it is just me or the tv that I am watching games on, but doesn't else feel it is to dark and you can hardly see the characters? Like in tonight's episode the whole show it was really hard to see what was going on.

I had the same issue. Lots of scenes seemed extra dark.

side question...is this the first time in the series where an episode has taken place entirely at one location?

I was wondering the same thing & I think it is the 1st time. Unless it happened in one of the earlier episodes.

Great battle scenes & the giants and mammoths were awesome!

Battle of the Blackwater was another one.

Their were more mammoths and Giants in the book as well during the attack,  the way the Wildlings attack is different all the way around for the most part.

Can someone please tell me where all those white walkers went to? I could swear they were just outside Castle Black.

And my buddy (whos never read the books) swears the white walker with the horns that took the baby is Renli.

They weren't heading to the wall,  remember the first scene in Season 3 where the Nights watch sent a couple hundred men and got into a battle with the white walkers looking for Benjen Stark? You didn't see anything you just heard the battle..... Thats where they were going....  and no bro,  Renly is dead as [expletive],  that was the Night's King,  Supposed to be the Leader of the White Walkers or something like that,  he was once a Lord Commander of the nights watch along time ago,  the nights watch and the wildlings teamed up together in the past to defeat him once before.

The show its an adaptation no the book made into TV. It's awesome this way
