From the little I've seen so far of the show "Spartacus", I've come to realize it is way more violent, action-packed, & gruesome & consistently as well. As far as the white walkers thing, I have no doubt in my mind, if it were the "Spartacus" folks in charge of the "Game of Thrones" show, they'd probably almost certainly have shown way more of them by now. They don't hold back on nothin' it seems. 6 episodes in by the way. Love "Game of Thrones", but so far, I already love "Spartacus" more, lol.

I'm glad you like Spartacus. GoT is fine. It's just a different pace. The amount of characters hinders pace. I think GoT could've been a great miniseries. I could see GoT go 8-10 seasons.

^ Yeah, GOT feels more like an RPG. Such a huge world in comparison and as you said, obviously so many more characters it's not even close. The best thing about that though is again, as you mentioned, the fact that it can potentially go so many more seasons. That's not a bad thing at all. So much more room for ideas, creativity, development, & directions. It's fantastic.

Spartacus is downright nasty, and I mean that in a good way. That show is meant to pump your blood and raise your heart levels (not to mention raise other parts of your body). A real man's show- except for the man to man kissing scenes which makes you throw up, but an excellent show nonetheless. The politics in GoT pales in comparison to Spartacus'; the character I particularly miss is Quintus Lentulus Batiatus. Jupiter's Cock.

Damn right. Spartacus will make you cheer only to rip your heart out a second later.

Caught up to the third episode of this season (only watched the premiere till tonight), and I have to say that that music during the credits killed the whole mood. Why the hell would you ever think it was a good idea to have that right after such a big scene? Especially when anyone who hasn't read GoT is basically going HOLY [expletive] WHAT JUST HAPPENED???

Terrible terrible choice. And from what I read off the torrent I DLed, the original torrents that went up after the episode had some audio issue and that crappy music was playing through the final scene. Must have been awful.

Crazy how they brought that dude back to life after the hound nearly cut him in half.

Looks like those are going to be some loyal soldiers.

Tywin is really taking things into his own hands. I didn't expect him so sit still behind his silly grandson.

I disagree. For me, it was the best in a while and plus, we finally got what we all wanted especially, well at least myself, Ygritte bare!

Ygritte don't do it for me but to each his own. I prefer seeing more of Talisa Stark or Margaery. And of course, Missandei.

Rob showed some balls cutting off Rickards head. Dude must've been furious to kill two very young squires.

I was just beginning to wonder why they called Jamie "Kingslayer"

Great episode for J-Lan especially. They've been doing a great job of showing greater depth to his character. What was once known as a mostly somewhat spoiled & entitled prick, has now been humbled, but also to the point where he's opened himself up and been more humanized. Audience could feel at least some compassion for him.

I assume they used a body double on her, no ? (from the back)

NEVER!!!

Each episode of Game of Thrones costs $6 million to produce.

^ Just for fun, compare that to "The Walking Dead"'s 2.8 per. Of course, much smaller world to say the least as well as fewer characters, but just a fyi.

"Spartacus" was 10 million per episode.

I'd think GOT would cost more given the numerous settings. Spartacus blows them away.
