It seems as though the server responds to the performance level of the Lakers previous game output. So when the team performs like crap the server downgrades its regular applications to equate consistent processing times as the teams.
And the core of the server will be disrupted by surges that cause complete circuit continuity and disconnect issues when one of the core players on the team becomes disengaged from their regular and standard operating procedures.
This problem can be troubleshooted but can not be repaired until systematic upgrades are made to the Lakers program. So were just gonna have to deal with it until the Lakers start utilizing their entire operating system.

When the Lakers lose, there's alot more traffic on this site.I just read up on the server specifications and I have some valuable feed back to offer.

Was the site featured on the news or something lately? It seems like it's been caused by lots of traffic. This usually only happens when big deals and trades are made.
