You have lakernation.com redirecting to www.lakernation.com but it doesn't resolve.
You guys really need to fix that redirect

I can't really say what's going on with the URL changes. From my understanding, they want to keep the forums on TLN's original URL until the playoffs are over, and use the new LN URL for the blog right now. Not really my call, though. The forums are basically mine, but the site isn't.
As far as the redirect goes, I would dive into the site's CP and fix that, but I shouldn't bother because I'm still uncertain as to what they want to happen.
I would prefer to just move the forums to the new URL immediately, fix the redirect, and resolve all of the problems.

I get redirected to: lakernation.com
Then, typing: www.lakernation.com

I did it about 3-4 times just now, to make sure it wasn't a propagation issue. Seems like everything, other than the forums link (/forums), is redirecting me to lakernation.com.
