just ordered this game on amazon with free shipping for 47$ (because i had 12$ game credits)

i heard its an open world game, but since ur a cop, its not like gta where you can completely do w/e killing people and stuff..should be interesting to play it once i finally get it in the mail

this pretty much sums it up

ive been playing for about 5-8hrs now, and it reminds me of heavy rain mixed with elements of the GTA world, but this isnt a GTA game..you cant cause destruction to the city, you cant use your weapon unless your on a mission and you HAVE to use it, u cant fist fight whenever you want, basically what im saying is, if your expecting to play another GTA game, then this isnt it...i wish they added the free roam capabilities into this game, it would have made things wayy more interesting, because right now, you cant even JUMP..there not even a jump button, i thought that was really odd..LA noir is still an open world game, you can drive where ever you want and things like that, but other than the driving, everything else feels retricted.....its still an interesting game story wise, but im just warning people, if your expecting a GTA type of game sith the chaos and all that, then this isnt it

Pretty much sums it up. LA Noire and GTA are two completely different games, and to be honest, its a good thing, the game solely focuses on the story. Gotta get this in the summer when I get some free time.

been playing its AWESOME only down part of it is the missions gets to repetitive sometimes and for me its hard to read peoples facial expressions when interrogating or asking witnesses questions at the crime scene, I give it 9/10

I was watching my buddy play, as it was so dull... walking around a room, picking things up... rotating the joystick to look at the object... put object down... pick up another object... REPEAT....

i like it but like most said its gets repetitive but the graphics beats out the repetitiveness

I really like Oblivion...


But, LA noire, from the 15 mins i saw it, was REALLY BORING...
I have not played the whole game, so i cannot attest to what it really is.

But... I can certainly say the game is not for everyone.

Yea deff not for everyone, this doesn't have as much action as we are all used to nowadays.

I have seen a bit more of the game...

The game is so straightforward...
You do not seem to have any freedom.
You accept a mission, and go and do that mission, watching cut scene after cut scene, and then the game takes you along a ONE way path to your goal...

The game has INSANE graphics.
But, the gameplay is poor

Red Dead Redemption was a FAR better game then this one.


I will stand by what i said.
The game is an exagerated tech demo of this new graphics technology

i somewhat agree, sometimes when i was playing the game, i thought the whole purpose was just to show off the graphics...this game could have been 1000% better if they let you free roam, the map is HUGE but u cant really do anything with it
