it's weird.
I typed in "lakernation.com" and I got an internet error. But now when I type it in, it goes to the new look tln. I can't go directly to the forums though as it opens up another browser automatically. what up with that?

I like the clean new look of the blog - hardly go to the blog itself now though, but still nice haha. 
Loads quicker for me than the previous layout actually, so that's cool.

Love it. Not an avid poster, but constantly reading the blog/forums to get news on whats going on. Gotta say, it quicker, simpler, fresher.

I dont like the name, Laker Nation. It just doesnt sound right. I like The Lakers Nation better.

It makes no sense to change the name to Laker Nation when your own competition is LakersNation. People are going to be confusing you guys with the other site.

I agree on the confusion part. After seeing the "One Nation" banner in the blog, and the name change; my initial reaction was that they somehow put everything aside and merged.

Aren't those guys that Facebook/Twitter group that bought out those LakersChat forums? I wasn't aware that they had a legit site, just a massive Facebook group page.

We're still thinking of ways to keep "TLN," if you guys would like. I know those three letter have a special place for fans. Andas always, we're open to suggestions. But we thought it was time to expand on what really is a great community here by correcting our website name.
Changing our site name has nothing to do with any other people, but was something we've been wanting to do for a long time, we've owned the domain LakerNation.com for years. No comment in regards to the guy on Twitter because he is clueless.
The essence of our site since we first started as GetGarnett.com was to unite the entire fanbase, and we hope to do that. At the end of the day, this site belongs to everyone that visits it.
We've got a lot of cool things for you guys!
