Here's highlights of the game. Don't foget, we had to come back from way down, by 24 points. Samaki Walker's half court shot end of 2nd quarter shouldn't have counted, so we were lucky they didn't have rpelays in effect then I suppose.
Here's Chick Hearn calling some of the action, sound quality is poor.
Here' the entire game if you have time to kill...

Seasons the Celtics lost ECF when Lakers won the championship (7): 1953, 1954, 1972, 1980, 1982, 1988, 2002
In NBA history, the Lakers have finished better than the Celtics by a margin of 39-24!

I was looking for the postgame interviews where Vlade called it a lucky shot, and Horry suggested Divac read the papers, he has being making clutch shots for some time now...Couldn't find it. I'ts on my Lakers Dynasty Box set DVD.

here's my "where were you when" story for the horry shot:
at work, think i was a 2nd year @ UCSB...back then, we had a big screen TV in one of the dining rooms for the students to watch whatever while eating, the student manager on that night was a kings fan, and the supervisor on that night, yours truly, was a laker fan...so the TV was locked on that game, and so were we, and most everyone else in the buliding by the end of the 4th quarter...i remember i was standing on a chair as kobe drove the ball, and as horry's shot went down, i jumped up onto a table, ran across a few of them screaming, and jumped off into the main aisle, celebrating with the other laker fans

Yeah, the Lakers Dynasty Box Set is dope. The Horry interview where he calls out Divac's criticism is there under the 2002 Championship Recap.
This is probably my fondest Lakers memory from my earlier years of fandom. Remember jumping up off the sofa and jumping around the room after the shot went down. Unbelievable.

I will always remember this shot and remember that press game conference quote from Horry. The 3-peat and 80's back to back championship videos are way better than the DVD's they have made for the Lakers in 09' and 10'
