1) be a highly-respected member
2) have no history of suspensions or bans
3) be an active member across the board
There will be instances where I will not select a member based on the fact that I would rather have that member as a full-time poster, and not having any responsibilities as a moderator. If you meet the criteria and are not selected, this is possibly why.
Moderating TLN is not something you get paid for, and it's not a privilege. The only extras you'll have? A staff forum. While it's not difficult, you'll be held to higher expectations as a member of the community, and you'll be expected to make calls against any member, regardless of your relationship with him/her.
The staff will be evaluated, and in some instances, rebooted...and a new set of guidelines will be written for TLN. The moderating team will include fido, netlord and Game, with possibly two new additions by summer. The Contributor and Analyst groups may be filled as well (though not a top priority).
If you want in, raise your hand.

I'll have to check the ACP. You're good for now.Have I gotten banned or suspended?
I wouldn't say that. I'll be adding two, more than likely...and it may be a while before I decide to add the first one.I'm not sure if I want the responsibility right now, but I would definitely consider it. I guess by the time I make my decision the spot will be taken though.

How did rap music go from really good to so dry?
Real artists get shelved and whack one's get famous
To leave masses brainless, a smart mind is dangerous
In their eyes there probably ain't no real [expletive] in your playlist
You're just a product of what the government has created
