Just know if the inbound pass is thrown to oj mayo in the backcourt the game is over as he runs the clock out but they throw it to Randolph who hits 2 free throws but leaves time on the clock

Haha I said basically the same thing on another thread. Big mistake.
"The way Steve is as a teammate, the way he sets the tone, the way the team kind of takes on his persona. As a coach, that's the best thing in the world. It's easy to coach. He's taking care of the chemistry. You just coach."

If they lose this series they'll have to always know that they were 1.7 seconds away from advancing.

Ugh...

We were one rebound away from winning the Suns/Lakers series. Terrible flashback.

Literally the 6'10" odom with 7'2" wingspan couldn't rebound over marion who is 6"7'

I still get pissed about that game. I still believe the lakers could have taken the clippers and would have given the mavs a run for their money in the WCF.

Just glad the Lakers had the opportunity to get revenge last year.

Anyway, I think the Grizzlies need to close this out today. Asking them to win a game 7 on the road against San Antonio is tough.

if they don't close out tonight than they're [expletive]ed. Spurs would beat them in a game 7

UGHHH freakin Lamar fallin asleep on the boards in critical junctures of big games

^ look how he's not stepping up to the 3 point line when the Suns are DOWN 3 and then just ball watches and lets Nash grab the offensive rebound. Brain farts all over the place when the pressure is on

Man, Memphis and their crowd look flat out ferocious today. I'm not sure the Spurs can win today.

Probably the angriest I've been ever as a Lakers fan - Up there with trading Shaq away and Game 4 and 6 against the Celtics. You have to look at the bright side...We may have not gotten Gasol if not for some of our struggles.

WOW - Memphis' defense is amazing, as is their energy and hustle.

If Memphis wins this series it will quiet people who still think of the trade as "Grand Theft Pau". The Grizzlies will have won a playoff series in 3 years since the trade. Never happened with their only franchise player in history. Bill Simmons can stop mentioning it. He conveniently forgets to mention McHale's wink wink deal with Ainge and the Celtics.

Grizzlies are playing for a chance to play on ABC for the first time in franchise history.
