Why do the celtics have a nobody in the regular season always turn into a playoff hero. JO looks key in this playoff run for them

It always seems like other teams get players who are less talented than the players we have, but they play hard no matter what. A lot of the Lakers players take on Phil's nonchalant attitude sometimes. But I do miss the days that LA had role players like B-Shaw, Rick Fox, Glen Rice, Horace Grant, etc. Those guys played hard and contributed.
