To Notre Dame. Down 7 points with 1:18 left.

Pretty big news imo. They just about never lose.

That's it. They're done. Luck of the Irish gets em'. They're unable to win it all three years in a row.

I was expecting both of the powerhouses, UConn and Baylor, to be in the finals. But the womens tourney has been just as unpredictable as the mens tournament.

Maya Moore put on a Kobe-eque performance towards the end to get her team back into the game. That girl has some game. Unfortunately, her teammates made some key mistakes that didn't allow UCONN to get the W.

2 losses over the last three seasons. Remarkable. People can talk crap about women's basketball all they want, but the fact is they have a playing career while others just continue to hate on them.

I agree. When they broke UCLA's record people were just hating left and right. They went on a winning streak that was reconized. UConns womens is a Big Time Power House when it comes to womens basketball. Idc if your a mens team or womens team accomishing all that the UConn womens did is tough as hell

I don't think so. I mean its a big upset, but I actually think the Texas A&M over Stanford result was bigger.

I think if UCONN had been undefeated then yes it would have been the biggest. The fact is before this season, the feeling was that UCONN would not reach the title game. Stanford was the favorite this year IMO

If you look at it the Stanford and UConn were on equal levels. Basicly its Ok you have two of the most talented Teams of the year right here with a chance to play each other in the National Title Game. Who would've thought Texas A&M would beat Stanford. or Norte Dame beat UConn the way they did taking controll late. If Texas A&M wins it'll be crazy

Their win streak was snapped in late December when they lost to Stranford. 90 games win streak.
