Wayne is obviously a very polarizing figure in hip hop. So many love the guy, so many hate the guy.
There was another rapper that was as polarizing and devisive. His name was 2pac.
So after seeing the so many threads here on TLN bashing him like he's a pos or praising him like hes the Archangel I kinda wanna hear more of what Wayne has to offer.

I have never bought a Wayne, Weezy, (whatever) album/song. I dont have any friends that have so in all honesty I'm not familar with any of his tracks accept his radio stuff. And I will say that I hated the Lick her like a Lollipop song. That TO ME was just some b.s. song he put out there for club appeal and radio rotation to reach 13 year old gurls who are sex curious so he could make money. And I'm sure it worked perfectly. But with all the hype he probably has more to offer than just a club diddy.

So real wayne fans please post what you think is Waynes best.
I want to hear his deepest lyrics.
I'm not just a dude that bobs his head to the beat and chuckles at 1 liners either. I will disect his lyrics and hold him accounatble.
I wanna hear the song that would make my all time fav 5 (Pac, NaS, Reakwon, Em and Talib Kwelli) say "damn that was hot".
And please dont overload me with 20 tracks in each post that I dont have time to hear. Just post THE ONE that you feel is Waynes ultimate track and thats it. thanks.

I'm not the biggest Wayne fan, he's gone way too mainstream for me, but his old works were the ish.

Contrary to popular belief, Lil Wayne isn't "trash".

that track goes hard. At the beginning of the 2nd verse he says
"I told ya I'm coming back I've got that Tommy Matolla"
Whats his relationship with Tommy Mattolla, aka the 20+ year CEO of Sony Enetertainment till a few years ago when he resigned and started another company?
Tommy Matolla is most known for him being about 55 and marrying 18 year old Mariah Carey and blowing her up in the music bizz while she blew him up every night.
Just wondering.
Judging by this song the dude obviously has skills, vision, drive and ability. I dont know why so many people feel the need to diss the dude. Its not like he can even be considered in the same breath as soulja boy type rappers.

I'm one of the few people who neither hates or likes weezy. To me he's not anywhere near the social relevance of mr shakur. Also shakur was in tuned to societal flaws and made a point to criticize the world he was witnessing around him.

However I do think they are both very intelligent men. Weezy is a psychology graduate from Houston and he's basically one of the most intelligent musicians out there only behind lady gaga. Both are people who's music I don't really enjoy but it's obvious they both know exacty how to please the masses and generate popularity.

Lil Wayne used to have different flow completely but he sensed a new style uprising and becoming mainstream called punchline rap and he made it young money's staple

Very smart guy just don't really enjoy punchline rap but his pre-Carter 3 is good stuff

"I got my business together, wish I could get together but timing is an error and I...
tell a lie to you like never if I was even ever, given another chance to
like I've died and gone to heaven, climbed inside treasure, died inside of pleasure like wow
ya smile is but of essence, ya child is so precious, I wish she was paternally mine
but karma is a message but Imma try to test it and scream for a blessing so loud
and I hope that he catch it and one day you come falling out of the most highest cloud
and I'll be there to catch you yes, I'll be there to let you do the things we didn't do before now"

yea hes tight. not my fav but I would listen to his stuff because hes original and doin his thing. Hes still a ugly mofo but I dont think he's in the game to look pretty....lol

lol, well in his own words: "if I ain't good lookin' you can bet my [expletive] is"

Lil Wayne in successful, hate him but i love his verse on that song.

Pardon the swag but [expletive]es cartate
Long bread, I don't eat shortcake
How come I can't miss a woman
Like I can't miss court dates

Cheese but she's not in this portrait
Life's fine but I do not portray
I'm on the other side but it is a sharp gate
I don't want the glow, I want the glo'ray

And I'ma [expletive] the world but this is just foreplay
Tired of hearing bull[expletive], bring her on to cow [expletive]
Haven't met a smell that's stinkier than [expletive]
That's word to Toronto

So high up I got birds in the condo
Ain't that a female dog
Ask her who I am to her and she yell, God
Weezy baby, I go real hard, no further details, boy
