personally i do...I think that the hype around Melo's trade didn't prepare this team for how imcomplete their roster is.
The Heat's centers look like Hall of Famers compared to the Knicks' frontline.
Toney Douglas is your most productive bench player....They should have claimed Magloire...or Diop or begged Rasheed.
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

No, it's their front office's fault for being scrubs when dealing with Denver.

No way I feel sorry for them, but I am disappointed in them as they should be as well. Sure, they've got a lot of holes on their roster, not a lot of depth no doubt, but even then, they have enough to where they should be doing better than what they've been currently doing. They are underachieving lately in my eyes. They're better than this, or at least they should be.

No. They knew it was a trade for the future. Plan was to get Carmelo at whatever cost.

^ The thing is though, yes, they did know it was a plan more-so for the future knowing they're not complete right now, but even then, having seen the way they got off to such a promising start the first several games or so other than the letdowns against Cleveland, that's why it's so disappointing that they've took a total turn and been so bad now since. They might not have much depth-wise, but again, I firmly believe they still have enough to where they definitely should be playing better than how they have been lately. It's a shame.

I actually do a bit. Unlike the Heat criticism, the Knicks didn't really bring it upon themselves. They weren't cocky, they didn't hold a celebration. They're not saying the world is a better place because they are losing.

No. This trade was made with the knowledge that they won't be real contenders until they stack their roster up next season.

I can only laugh at Carmelo who has to see the Nuggets playing great and playing horribly as the center peice on the Knicks. Amare started the season playing great because of all the role players. Now they're all mostly gone along with Felton who was playing at an all star level for the first time.

Only team I will ever feel sorry for are the Blazers for getting Oden instead of Durant, and well everyone knows the next player that they passed up on...
