Face it fellow TLN members, Kobe will always be hated. No other player has garnered as much hate in league history I believe(correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just going for at best results), and with that amount of hate, it translates to the other side where there is as much love for him by us.

The NBA was thrilled to have the Lakers back in the Finals but it will be one and done for them.

The sole goal of this type of statement is to get the attention. It has nothing to do with facts. As long as they get the attention they achieve their goal.

If you're not guilty then no need to respond. People calling him a 'douche' and getting 'angry' over somebody who says your favorite team won't win. Big deal. I know this is just basketball, but in general people need to learn that not everybody is going to agree with you. It doesn't make somebody a 'douche' just because they aren't your identical twin.

if the 'douche' comment was directed at me, let it be known, i actually called EVERY person that gets paid to make predictions a douche.

predictions are garbage, imo. it might just be me, but I honestly don't care what some "expert" thinks is going to happens nine months from now with anything, wether it be basketball, football, baseball, politics, ect... I don't know, i've been blogging (credibility, GONE) since 2004, and I think the bane of internet sports coverage is f'ing predictions. Granted, this guy is a "professional," but the pool of predictions has become SO diluted over the past few years, it's just annoying now.

people who have enough of a finger on the pulse of sports are more than qualified to come to their own conclusions, but the problem comes in when everyone that comes to conclusions feels the need to share them with everyone for the off chance that they can rub it in the face of the world if they're right.

that's all. just something that bugs me.

Oh I only have the default 20 posts per page. But my point is, why even dignify this crap with a response? Why do we have to prove anything to some anonymous "scout"?
