Samsung Galaxy S II is by far the best Android phone. To bad its wrapped up in a crappy piece of plastic...

Better than having that stupid glass Apple has. I remember when I dropped mines once and the whole back cracked.

As far as I can tell the market looks the same as it always has on my Droid2.


Maybe other peoples changed with the update?? Idk.

I still have my og droid( ) [expletive]s still rockin. I'm running gingerbread right now, it's just awesome still. Running just as fast as the new phones.

Opened up the Market a few minutes ago and noticed it's completely different. I like it. Guess I finally got the Market update as well. They added a movie rental service now, $3.99 for new releases, $2.99 for older tittles, not bad. Also you can buy books now.

Still no Gingerbread though. From what I hear Droid2's will be getting it this year though...

I got the Gingerbread update on my Motorola Droid 2 last friday. At first I was kinda disappointed, I liked the previous look better, I guess the color scheme and all was better IMO, haven't really noticed an improvement in battery life, some stuff got slightly improved, i'm starting to like it now though. But overall I was expecting more, at least some new live wallpapers or something. Lol

Like I said, I got updated already, but one thing that really bothers me is that since the update when the phone freezes, it'll stay that way for about 2 seconds, then reboot. It does this about twice daily. It sucks. Maybe it's just the case for Droid 2s, but this started to happen since the update.

I'm guessing that since my droid 2 is rooted, I won't be getting the gb update? If that's the case, does anyone know if i un-root it, will i get the update?
