I read somewhere that the Task Killers aren't necessary anymore for Android phones since they do a good job killing tasks already.

Yeah, I used to use advanced task killer before but it was draining my phone's battery

Idk... Just that AT&T has had the best phone for a couple years now.

Actually, AT&T had the worst phones out of the major phone carriers. AT&T is finally starting to add Android powered phones to their lineup.

The Motorola Atrix and HTC Inspire are two great phones coming out on AT&T.

Root it first trust me you'll have plenty more options. I like tapatalk pro for browsing the forums I go to. Handcent is a must too

Yea you just run the RUU n it brings back to factory fresh settings

Just got the HTC Inspire 4G, its so freaking sick! I love Apple and the iPhone but Android>>>>>>IOS

My Palm Pre died n they had the EVO Shift 4G @ best buy for $99 so I took it up. I am so impressed by this phone. On quadrant I get at the lowest a 1900 linpak is at least 55 its so fast

How to manage your phone's files without using a USB Cord

You will need a Secure FTP program (my suggestion is WinSCP if you are on windows or Cyberduck if you are on a mac) and QuickSSHd. Rooting your phone is optional. You need to know your computers IP

• Download QuickSHHd. Make sure Wi-fi is on and start it up, the home screen should look like this
• Type in a password, I'll use "alpine" In the top right hand corner make sure the box says "on" if not, tap it
• Open up WinSCP or Cyberduck, i'll use winscp as an example. Hit "new" on the right hand side
• Follow this image:
• Select your login now by double clicking it, it should say something like root@192.168...... Press continue when an authentication window pops up. Type in your password.
• You can now see your files without plugging a USB cord in and selecting Mass Storage. You can do anything such as put files in for music, take out downloaded files, edit, move replace, transfer files. Rooted users don't be editing anything in the system folder if you don't know what you are doing.

This works well, but i also use Dropbox since it's quick & easy

thanx...haven't even rooted my incredible yet, or really looked into it at all

what are the main benefits other than being able to workm with some of the files on the phone that you otherwise can't, and being able to install paid apps for free?

can i uninstall skype, and slacker radio when rooted?
