So my Verizon contract is up in a few weeks and I've been looking at some phones I'd like to upgrade to. IPhone has already been ruled out.

So right now, I still have Verizon's unlimited data. Recently, I looked at how much data I use in a month and I saw that I really don't go over 2GB a month.

I have an HTC incredible 2 right now I've really come to love HTC products because of it, but I just can't get over their weak battery life so now I have to look at another brand (damn shame).

So what phone would you guys recommend? Also, do you think I should give up my unlimited data to avoid paying full phone price considering my current data usage?
Here's what I'm looking for: Strong battery life. Amount of memory doesn't matter to me at all. I see most phones now have between 8-16 GB of memory so that'll be just fine for me. I don't use my phone for anything beyond texting, calling, internet browsing, and taking pics so I I'm not looking for anything too complex or specific.

So far, I was thinking of one of the Motorola RAZR phones. The HD or the MAXX HD. They seem to have decent processors and excellent battery life. I did like the HTC DNA, but the bad battery life kills it for me.

Anyone currently have one of the RAZR phones I mentioned above? Or would you guys recommend the Droid you currently have? I'm open to suggestions.

HTC One has been the best Android phone I've ever used period. Verizon announced they are getting it later this summer. Great battery life, build and very fast.

If you wanna go Motorola the new X phone should be announced soon as well

Oh wow, so I just read that Verizon announced that they would be introducing the HTC One later on this month. I also see that it has a 2300mAh battery which is pretty solid. Still have to go through the other specs.

It looks like I might be waiting until the HTC One is released.

Motorola's seem to have the best battery life.

Sucks how you have to decide if you want to keep your unlimited or pay more for a new phone.

It's great, I have multiple email accounts that are set to push, constant updates from work apps and personal apps (Instagram, FB, etc) and by the time i get home from work and running errands I still constantly had at least 70% left. That's with streaming music in the car, internet browsing, etc during the day as well.

Sounds great. Are you connected with WiFi at your work as well?

Unfortunately, there was a false update on Wikipedia that said the HTC One would be available on Verizon later this month. It'll probably later on this summer around SEP-AUG like you said before, you think it'd be worth it to wait it out until then?

Yea work has wifi but even with LTE it never drained much.

I like the One so much I'd wait for it, but that's just my personal preference.

Some things to consider:

1. Aluminum Unibody construction (Looks so nice, but can't be opened so no SD Card or removable battery)

2. Beats Audio with Boomsound Speakers (The sound is incredible, sounds better than a lot of laptops)

3. Sense 5 (It's great, doesn't touch the stock Android experience much like Touchwiz would)

4. 32GB (Comes with 32GB of storage)

As a galaxy s3 owner I completely agree with you here, the one is the best android out even if the sale numbers dont say so. The s4 is just a bigger s3 with no real worthy upgrades on it. The new galaxy will probably be a pretty big change, or at least I am hoping that because if samsung stays down the apple path of just putting out slightly updated things people will get fed up with their crap much like what has happen to apple. I always felt that apple's days were numbered if they kept with the same gameplan and their stock price shows just how downhill their company is doing. Even though they still have a solid following I would not bet on apple right now at all. Their stock price is down close to 300 bucks from its high a few months ago and I still wouldn't buy it even if I could afford it lol.
