Google Mobile app:



I've used this app for finding out what a name of a certain picture was. It worked pretty swell. There is also "voice search" where you say something into the mic and it will search it up for you on google without having to type anything.

You can be in a club or party turn this app on and it will search for the title of the song & artist.

Dropbox


Basically this is like a free online storage for you. First you create an account (you get 2GB free but can buy more if you desire). You can upload mp3's,documents,pdfs and etc onto their service.

Yelp

This app lets you see whats around the area where you are at. Its good when you are going on a vacation and want to find out where the best steakhouse is located and see what other people rated it, what the price range is and etc.

aNote / Awesome Note

Much better than the stock note that Apple provides for you.

Price: $3.99

Skyfire

This is a web-browser that enables some flash videoes to be viewable. **Note, this app is still a work in progress, so not all flash videos work.**

Infinity Blade


Awesome game that looks glorious!!

I was surprised to see it. Glad I got it.

I've had bad experiences with quicktime. My only grip is the VLC doesn't work all that hot with AirPlay. Work in progress.

you need to jailbreak your iphone & is in Cydia, but what it does it let you customize your iphone with themes

so you can do cool stuff like this (not my phone, still learning how to do this):

Never got why people didn't want to jail-break their phones. It won't void the warranty, won't brick the phone (rarely does) and is pretty quick to do.

indeed, although unlock is a different story, also if you need to get your phone fixed, just restore your phone and have nothing on it. if they ask "why is your phone empty?" just say for privacy reasons or something

Soundhound is better, after it know what song it is, it'll display it where as shazam you have to wait for the listening part to finish

I have an ipod touch 1g and an iphone 3gs and both are jailbroken with some sick themes and mods. I will post a scrren if I get the time...
