What's so special about an iPhone? Only fanboys think this is a great phone. Companies have been releasing better phones than the iPhone and will continue to release better phones than the iPhone.

I enjoy
having my music on my phone(had music on a Treo and was just bad)
The slick OS IMO
Apps
a good touch screen
not having to carry multiple gadgets
Call quality

You didn't list anything special, lol.

You can put music in pretty much most of the smartphones and even expand the memory of a phone. Can you do that with an iPhone? Nope.

What slick OS? The iOS is a simple iOS and you can do so much more with an Android powered phone.

BB and Android powered phones also have apps. It's not like the iPhone is the only one with great apps.

HTC also have great touch screen phones and some of their phones are even better than the iPhone.

The Call quality on the iPhone sucks. AT&T sucks and the iPhone 4 sucks to make calls because of the service and antenna.

The specs on the iPhone aren't impressive at all.

Since i got my Palm Pre last november, got a upgrade right now but waiting since HP/Palm is having a event on Feb 9th, to see what they are bringing this year

I'd really like to have Flash. But not having it isn't a deal breaker for me.

For me I look at it(iPhone) for all the things it does, not the things it doesn't.

Don't know why everyone wants an iPhone so badly on Verizon. The Droid phones are just as good, if not better than the i4. And this is coming from an iPhone 4 user.

Ehh, flash is kinda overrated. When you have such a huge market as they do with the iPhone, you force people to adjust to YOU. That's why so many sites are rapidly changing to become iPhone compatible. Just the truth.

I have an iPhone 4, and it's the best phone I've ever used. With that said, I think even if Verizon does announce that they will be carrying the iPhone, those guys really lost out. Don't kid yourselves, they'll still make money, but they lost out on a huge market to ATT. For what it's worth, I ONLY care about iPhone to Verizon if Verizon can offer a competitive rate, as I don't have major problems with ATT, except the price, slightly, and the reception, but even less so.

Ha that phone is old school compared to webOS that runs Palm's new phones. Trust me webOS is honestly the best mobile OS i've ever used period & it is only getting better with each update. HP is great since they will now have the money to match great hardware with their OS now

More sites are becoming more HTML5 compatible sooner than expected which is good cuz that's not iPhone compatible that's every smart phone with a decent webkit browser compatible. But in all reality i find myself needing flash on my phone (which it's getting soon) more than 3 or 4 times a day when web browsing.

I still think Sprint offers more bang for your buck when it comes to plans.

Anyone know if the Verizon plans will be cheaper than ATT's?

Verizon will offer an UNLIMITED Data Plan. This is huge, since ATT stopped offering this recently. I also believe that you will be able to use the Verizon iPhone as a Wifi Hotspot, which you can only do if you jail break your ATT iPhone.

Sounds good, pretty excited, definitely considering it, but not a for sure thing because of the lack of flash still.
