As the league keeps getting stronger and attracting more people, the most interesting thing imho are the young players who are tearing it up for their franchises on the court. The players have been coming into the NBA real young and making an impact almost as soon as they touch the floor. In the past few years, the NBA has been graced with a new groups of young stars that are sure to entertain us basketball fans even after Kobe is past his prime.

Some young stars (who have already reached superstar status) include:

Carmelo Anthony
LeBron James
Chris Paul
Chris Bosh
Deron Williams
Dwight Howard
Dwyane Wade

The above players have already shown that they can play at a very high level and will prosper in the league for years to come. In addition to them, many other young players that have shown us that they have the potential to become amazing players.

My personal favorite player is Monta Ellis. With blinding speed and an uncanny ability to finish at the rack, Ellis is a unique combo guard getting better every year in he's been in the NBA. He'll be fun to watch in the upcoming years :lolabove:

Who's you're favorite young player to watch play in the NBA?

Bold Prediction: Ricky Rubio from Spain. Still a long way to go, but someday. He's only 17 at the moment.

Ricky Rubio to Marc Gasol on the first video! I can't wait to see those two in the Olympics with brother boy Pau :gasol:. And see if they can handle our USA team.

True, but what I meant by superstar was the next big thing, like the faces of the NBA after the current generation is gone. And all of those guys are still VERY young and will become better players as their careers go onwards. Sorry for the confusion

After doing some research on Ricky Rubio, the kid really is a stud! A quadruple double in one game, and a triple double in another game with 51 points, 24 rebounds, 12 assists and 7 steals? That's unprecedented at 17 years old ;)

I would REALLY like to see Greg Oden explode to be the Shaq/Ewing type. Then we can have those Oden - Bynum rivalry 5 years from now.

I doubt Oden will do get ROY stats next year, but I am still very interested in how Oden players couple of years from now.

Also looking for DeMar Derozan and Jrue Holliday to be All-Stars in the NBA.

Larmcus Aldridge has potential to be a very big star. Guy is very good. Also probably Rudy Gay, and or Kevin Durant.

The one guy I can see becoming a force in the NBA is Andrew Bynum.

Deron Williams. He'll make the All-Star team for sure next year (I don't think Steve Nash or Jason Kidd will make it next year). I already think Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwyane Wade are pretty much superstars maybe even Chris Bosh as well. Chris Paul and Dwight Howard are on their way and you're pretty much set. Older stars like Tracy McGrady, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, Paul Pierce, Steve Nash, and Dirk Nowitzki are pretty much done and will probably get like a few more years before retiring.

kwame brown, i consider him a rookie still.

I see faith in your eyes
never you hear the discouraging lies
broken is the promise, betrayal
the healing hand held back by deepened nail
follow the god that failed
