if I was the 49ers I would press hard to acquire Matt Flynn from the Breen Bay Packers. Matt Flynn played like a freakin champ against and in New England this past week. I think he shocked the world.
SF better get off their arse, dump Alex bust Smith and get this guy if they want even a remote chance of staying in the bay area and being successfull ever again.

No thanks. I'd much rather trade for Kolb or keep Troy and draft a rookie in round 1.

Alex Smith should've been cut years ago.

Good college QB, but he doesnt belong in the NFL.

not to defend Smith. But in all honesty ya gotta feel for the guy. Hes had like 7 offensive coordinators in 8 years or whatever....lol He's never had the time to be part of a team, and coaching staff that implements a game plan longer than 1 season so he can fully execute and lead a system......lol.

man 49ers organization has become a league joke at this point.
The days of Eddie D and Carmen P seem so long ago.
