I've had this account for awhile but never really used it. Was recently banned from another Lakers board so I want to give this a shot.(Dont want to make this thread about that just stating why im here.)

Welcome to the best. 
Traffic is good. We're active, but we allow room for new members to come in and make an impact without being pushed out of the way by some of the more dominant posters. The idea is to have more basketball-related (and, well, Lakers-related) discussion than anything else, so we do our best to make that happen.
The mods are on a vacation right now, but I'll be re-upping the staff shortly. My treat to them. People say it's strict here, and they are entitled to their opinion, but it's key that we don't allow disruptive behavior. Some members will joke around and try and get away with things, or see how far they can go before getting warned/suspended, and that's when I come in and deal with it. They don't seem to like it, but I really don't know what to say to that sort of immaturity. Everyone is free to post any opinion they have as long as it's not deemed inappropriate or disruptive, and that's been the case every season we've been through.
You should like it here.
If you have any other friends who are looking for a place to talk basketball, drag them over as well.

I've heard people complain about this site but from what I've seen its pretty good.
There's a few things I dont like but maybe as I learn the in's and the out's ill be fine.
For instance, is their a search button? a new posts? Kind of hard to be having to check every forum individually.

Sorry, but I havent watched soccer in awhile. Henry is in Arsenal now? And what happened to Ibra in Barca? One of the worst trades of all time, IMO.

The search button is under the banner, far right...you can search from there, or hit the crank/wheel image to the right.I've heard people complain about this site but from what I've seen its pretty good.
There's a few things I dont like but maybe as I learn the in's and the out's ill be fine.

And the View New Content link shows new posts. It's also under the banner, right side.
