It seems Shaun Livingston may have finally found a home.

HOOPSWORLD has learned that The Miami HEAT will be signing unrestricted free agent Shaun Livingston according to sources close to the situation.

The deal is expected to be announced in the next 24 hours, and will give the HEAT an additional option at point guard. League sources who are familiar with Livingston's situation have told HOOPSWORLD that Shaun is likely 80-85% in terms of readiness to play, and will likely need several weeks to not only learn the HEAT system, but to get right physically.

More as this story develops.

exactly. I would have liked to have him on the team but we are really stacked at the 1,2. Oh well Miami poses little to no threat against us still.(hopefully)

Players should be thankful the Clippers and Heat exist so they have a place to practice until they sign with an NBA team.

Have fun Shaun!

I'm a DIE HARD Clippers fan, and proud. I respect the Lakers and watch them every chance I get.

Respect me and I'll respect you. Don't respect me... we'll cross that bridge when we get there :)

If Livingston's health holds up, he will be a positive for the up tempo offense the Heat are implementing. He is a selfless player with good handles and is an adept passer. With Wade, Marion and Beasley in the fold, they should be able to keep up and win more than they did last season.
Five guys on the court working together can achieve more than five talented individuals who come and go as individuals.

Very "inciteful" post...

except you totally ignore facts and let your emotions come into play when it comes to the team with the guy who took attention away from hero Kobe

1. The Heat play in the EAST. You just need 42 wins to make the playoffs

2. Wade should be HEALTH again...coming off of an MVP of the Olympics type of performance

3. The Heat have Beasely, one of the top prospects of the last draft.

4. Chalmers had a great SPL, and is known for his defense

5. Do I have to remind you the Heat are in the East?
