Two days after Google posted their very first generic notebook, a lot of people are already signing up in their Pilot Program. Here's a first look at their machine.

Not much to look at though...More pictures can be viewed HERE

It's a nameless 12.1″ unit with an Intel Atom processor inside. WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity is present and Google claims up to 8 hours of battery life.

Unfortunately, it's only available for US residents. You can try to sign up for the Pilot program by clicking below:

Google Chrome Notebook

I'll try using the MyUSMailbox service and see if that's going to work. Let me know if any of the TLN members get selected!

It's cool, but i'm not interested yet. I'll keep my eye on it for its future development. Read on engadget they couldn't get photoshop to install or anything really yet. But the battery life is insane, i think i read like 9 days of standby/sleep mode time

But i'll deff submit to test it out

All I care about is performance. Anyone know the specs?

I signed up, but I think that this is kind of a sneaky ploy by them to get you to fill out a survey.
