It's going to be interesting to see how Barcelona does with new unexperience coach, and let's see if they continue with Etoo or not..

Very bad news for Madrid fans. Sjneider just broke his ligaments in his knee, and they say he could be 6 months out... Hi still has to have some tests, but It looks very bad...

Yeah, it was a nasty fall. I don't mean to defend my player, but Diaby isn't a vicious player, in fact, he suffered a very serious injury and he's never really gone in for tackles since then.
I hope Sjneider can get well soon. Ligament injuries are always bad.

I didn't see the match, but I doubt the players were being agressive, It wasn't the Champions league final.
I am sure it was just a nasty fall, and it hit in the right place at at a bad moment and just snapped, those things happen.

You could see the tug that caused the injury. The leg just got bent. I seriously hope Sjneider can get back soon. I think he is a quality player.

MÉXICO -- El delantero mexicano Nery Castillo dajará al equipo inglés Manchester City, para jugar con el Betis de la Primera División de España la temporada 2008-2009, confirmó su representante Juan Carlos Padilla a un portal de Internet.
El contrato del atacante mexicano es a préstamo por un año con opción a compra, descartando así a la Roma, equipo que también mostró interés por el jugador.
"Estamos esperando a que se diga cuando viaja el jugador y yo creo que este lunes por la mañana ya se dará el anuncio oficial por parte del Betis, pero ya prácticamente está atado", explicó Padilla.
Abundó que faltan los exámenes médicos correspondientes pero que el contrato ya está arreglado para que juegue su primera temporada en tierras españolas, "si no es mañana, pasado Nery tiene que estar acá", dijo Padilla, quien se encuentra en España.
Por último, Castillo estará en calidad de préstamo, y se espera que el Betis pueda quedarse con los derechos sobre el jugador al termino del acuerdo, ya que por el momento los dueños de la carta del seleccionado nacional son el equipo ucraniano Shakhtar.
"La gente del Betis ha estado siguiendo muchísimo a Nery y obviamente ellos se quieren quedar a final de año con el jugador. Lo que pasa es que de momento, por la situación que tenía con el préstamo del Manchester City por la situación con el Shakhtar se tuvo que tomar esta decisión", finalizó.

^ Yeah, I forgot to update & correctify my report. Indeed, he ultimately actually DIDN'T go, unfortunately. He's one of my fav. players, especially being Mexican & all. I wanted to see him in arguably the best soccer league in the world, but maybe some other time, maybe.
