I think we should give each league their own thread.

I'm very optimistic about the future of:
Denilson
Francis Coquelin
Jack Wilshere
Carlos Vela
Nicklas Bendtner
Theo Walcott
Those are some young players who could have an amazing season next season.

By the way, I'm an Arsenal fan. Guess what? We aren't buying anyone as usual.

i've heard concern from other Arsenal fans that Arsenal is becoming a rare type of club: top four feeder. (in that they're consistantly in the top 4 but, as recent transactions may prove, they have started to sell off "finished products" to reinvest in youth)
personally i don't think this is going to be a huge problem for you guys, but i don't think selling the players you did this year is going to help you at all.
and, pray it doesn't happen, but if cece pulls a ronaldo and wants to go to barca in a year or two?
what are your thoughts on that?

I doubt he will go to Barcelona, he doesn't have the same mentality as Ronaldo. Imo, I think he wil stay.

what do you think about arsenal becoming a top four feeder club though? possible? unlikely?
They may be, but I am not sure If they got much left to keep giving....
I think their actual block is strong and young, and they have parted ways with the old guys.

I do not believe we are a feeder club for the big guns. I DO believe that Wenger needs to grow some balls and tell players, "No, you are under contract with us, you are staying". But still. We need to have some short term success so guys like Cesc, Adebayor and so forth want to stay. Wenger is planning too much for the future and not enough for now.
Still, planning for the future has made us one of the best teams in the world and we haven't even spent that much. Fabregas, Adebayor, Toure, Van Persie, Clichy, Sagna, Bendtner and so forth were bought for pennies and now they are top players (or in Vela and Bendtner's case, top players to be).
We also have guys like Denilson, Vela, Walcott, Wilshere and Ramsey coming through and these are young players.
So basically, to sum things up, I don't think we are a feeder club for the big teams. However, to avoid losing our good young players, we need some short term success to keep them happy.
As for Fabregas, he has more loyalty and class in his little finger than Ronaldo has in his whole body.
By the way, Denilson has been amazing the last two games. He could replace Flamini and then some. Wilshere is only 16 and he completely owned that Real Madrid full back today.

Yeah, Fabregas won't leave, and much less to go back to Barcelona. He left for a reason. He sees he can be a leader in Arsenal, why would he want to go to another place and start again?

Arsenal are also the most player friendly club out there. Wenger made Fabregas, Fabregas wants to repay him. I also believe that Fabregas suits the English game perfectly.
