My friend just told me his XBox is messed up. He doesn't wanna go to Microsoft and have them fix it cause he thinks he can't afford the price. Is there any other way?

You can buy a refurbished system from Gamestop with two controllers for a little over 100 bucks,
its still under Microsoft warranty protection too. Repairing the system is pointless, just throw
it in the garbo or like fedfox said 'get a ps3'
