should i trade zach randolph for blake griffin in return while i still can?

i basically needed someone that can give me 18+ and close to 10 rebounds on a nightly basis (after pau bosh and dwight are gone i always look for zach)

but, ive been REALLY impressed with blake griffin's effort on defense and im thinkin of taking a gamble, double double PLUS blocks would be better

what do you guys think? do it now when he has still yet to prove something? or stick with randolph since he's been doin it for 3 years straight

i dont wanna see blake explode and then be unable to pull this trade off lol..im seriously givin it thought..i dont know about his FT shootin though (i never really care about those anyways to be honest)

suggestions?

Unless this is a keeper league, I would suggest keeping Randolph. You really never know what your going to get with a first year player.

Another thing to think about is with how active Griffin is on the court, will his knee hold up the entire season?

yup those are the 3 question marks - rookie inconsistencies / free throws and injury, its a high risk high reward trade

so far 1 (not counting myself) vote for griffin and 1 vote for zach as the safer pick

few more inputs and ill see if i wanna go forth with it lol

If I were you, I'd keep Randolph. Griffin is a rookie and he already suffered an injury. You don't know how he will play nor whether he will play. Zach could give you 20 and 10 night in and night out.

Randolph gives you 20/10 and also usually 1+ SPG from a PF/C is something to think about.
Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.

I think its a win win situation for you, Zach is still gonna give you monster numbers now with Marc Gasol injured

Zach got hurt today, hope it's not too serious.

And yea if you wanted blocks, shoulda went with Blake. Half the guards in the league get more blocks than Zach........
