I want a good pair of earphones. I use standard iPhone earbuds pretty much all the time, and to be honest, they're not that bad. I'm strongly considering the earphones linked below (Sony-MDR-EX300 earphones), due to the price and great user reviews of them. Has anyone tried them before?

Have you tried Skull Candy?

http://www.skullcand...adphones_type=9

I have the Riot Rasta, and based on experience, these are the best earphones I've had for my iPod. When you listen to music, you can't hear any outside noise. The designs are way better too.

Based on the reviews, it looks like they're actually decent. They look kinda gimmicky, though.

Just FYI, I went with the Sony's...Just too many great reviews, and too many people saying these were the best earphones they've ever used in their lives to not get it. Their main competitor is the Sennheiser CX300, which also has good reviews, but the Sony's had better.

I will do a review when I get the earphones.

These are just about the best bang for your buck headphones out there. Best quality for the best price. Truly recommend them.

http://www.amazon.co...86863863&sr=8-1

and look at the fantastic reviews overall as well...

I thought they'd be too good to be true, but I took a chance and they're the best I've ever had.

yo.

Do not buy Skullcandy. That's a direct order. Anyone who knows anything about headphones will laugh at you. They suck, and are cheaply made.

I've heard good things about this pair.

I'm going to buy a pair of those. I hear they are great for a pair under a 100 bucks.

If you don't know much about headphones, just buy Sennheiser. Those are always great.

Thanks for the link. I'll check 'em out since they're so cheap and and everyone knows that user reviews don't lie. The only thing is that I'm not crazy about "over the ear" headphones. Much prefer earbuds/earphones.

Thanks man. Yeah, I ordered it on Amazon yesterday. How do you compare them to Bose or other high quality earphones?

Also, I forgot to mention that I own a pair of Panasonic RP HC55 noise cancelling earphones (Got them for free a year ago). They're actually pretty decent for the price. Bass is very good, and it's pretty clear. I just didn't like that you had to use a battery for it, and the noise cancelling cylinder on the wire...and I want to go to the next level.

They the best I used by far. They cancel the noise pretty well, I go to college with them everyday and it's a 30 minute bus trip, with all the traffic noise and the bus engine, I can't here [expletive] cause I'm wearin them  They make rap beats go hard as [expletive]!

Damnnnn itt....I just got these today, and they're only just MARGINALLY better than stock ipod/iPhone earbuds! I'm serious here. My Panasonic RP HC55's are much better than these, and they're the same price, or cheaper. What I will give the Sony's is that they are INCREDIBLY comfortable.

I read a few times that you have to break these in, so I'll give it a shot, but so far, I'm disappointed. Also disappointed in the reviewers on Amazon/CNET - they usually never fail me on anything. Like any rational human being, I will give these a test/trial run for about a week, and then return it to Amazon. I know that there's a restocking fee, so I'll just have to pay it if I don't like them.

That sucks.
Sound is one of those things that's different for everyone(reviews are moot JMO).

I looked around online(I hate going to stores) looked at some reviews, pros/cons then went to a best buy. Checked out all the different kinds then made a decision. I went solo's over studio Beats because of the battery. Haven't looked back.

I never thought the Beats were worth the price, I've had studio headphones that are the same size, require no battery & are a good 1/4 of the price as beats

Agree 100%. Beat's are nice, but all 300 dollar headphones are nice. If you are willing to spend that much, look elsewhere.
