From what I heard on the radio right now, it seems like the deal is close, and that there are just a few minor things needing to be worked out.

I hope the vikings win it all. Moss has always been my fave player ever since that thanksgiving game against the Cowboys back in the 90's!

Patriots now have 2 1st rounders. 2 2nd rounders. Andddddddd 2 3rd rounders. They are smart as hell. Moss wasn't doing much for them so they got a pick for him. Keep in mind they gave up a 4th rounder for Moss so they increased the value on him. Tom Brady was winning rings before Moss, and he can without him. No big deal...

No doubt. This was the 1st year since Moss was at NE that he wasn't a team-captain, that sorta tells you somethin bout his role on the team and what the coaching staff expects from him. The core of the team is Brady-Welker, and they have plenty picks to bring some young talent. They might not be SB contenders this year, but they have the tools to be so for the next few years.
