He's done nothing since he's been on the Lakers. Luke had a bad season last year, but I expect him to have a better season this year. Phil also won't trade his son Luke.

Luke has the worse contract so I'd rather trade him. Aside from that, both are horrible defenders but Vlad is a much better shooter and overall can contribute more.

Vlad is at least a threat out there with his 3 point shooting. Everyone has figured out Luke's go to moves, what he can/can't do and what spots he's uncomfortable on the floor.
Vlad can fill the lanes in transition (its a good thing he learned that stuff from his Seattle days) and he's a better slasher and is a true threat curling off screens to pull off the mid range shot or a layup (how many times have we seen the Lakers run a play which resulted in a Vlad layup off a screen)
