That crowd was crazy for the Serbia game.. That could definitely be a factor. Hopefully the warm up games playing Spain in Spain and Greece in Greece will help with that..

Tomorrow's game is actually bigger than people think for USA basketball. If they win, they qualify for the 2012 olympics. If they don't wint they have to qualify next summer. Normally that isn't a problem, but... if the NBA has a LOCKOUT next summer, the NBA plays may not be allowed to play for the USA and the USA may need to have non NBA players play to qualify for the olympics. I'm not totally sure on this, but I read something about it a few months back. Hopefully they just win tomorrow and everything is set

Hope Durant doesnt take 25 shots....I know he is a great scorer and all....but you have a team with no weak links.....He doesnt have to play the same game he plays for OKC..........25 shots for 38 points aint bad....but stilll top forcing the world to believe this kid is a superstar......b/c he has a LOT to prove

They love setting people up for failure......
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

^ Chil he forced like 4 shots in the last 2-3 minutes when we had a healthy lead, to try to get to 40 points. So basically 21 shots for his 38 points

And you love hating on Durant any chance you get. Forcing it? He's a scorer and the best player on Team USA. He should be taking that many shots if he's scoring with as much efficiency as he did against Serbia. The kid IS already a basketball superstar.

It's pretty hard to believe that USA is playing Turkey in the finals...They just don't seem like they should be there. I would expect countries with more NBA players/better teams like Argentina, Greece and obviously Spain. This should be good. The crowd will be pumped for their hometown team.

I predict a "comfortable" win by the US, but I would like an exciting, close game.

10 minutes!

Odom better come to play because Turkey does have size over us. They got that blondeish guy Erden who's a rookie for the Celtics and Golum who's very active on the boards. Then they gotta watch out for Omer Asik's theatrics.
