Loved the show, but I wouldn't say it's the GOAT anime.

but for the gogeta and vegeto question
if u read about it, it says gogeta was more of a goku led fusion, u can hear his voice as being slightly more dominant. and vagetto being more vagetta dominant.

DBZ Kai is a lot better with that since it cuts filler. The reason the fights took forever was because they had to wait for the original manga/comic version to catch up.Every boss fight felt like an eternity
DBZ Kai cuts out pointless stuff so the story moves faster with better voice acting and quality.
Also IIRC not counting GT, Gohan trained by the Kai's was stronger than both SSJ3 Goku and Buu.

I had never watched this in my life till my girl showed me it and we went on a DB, DBZ marathon ([expletive] the third series they did) but damn I missed out as a kid.
Hated how Gohan wad supposed to be stronger than his pure blood dad with his half human week ass.

True but it always bugged me how it was implied he was.
Future Trunks was a G but in DB GT he was a [expletive]
In theory, Mystic Gohan was more powerful than Goku.
But Goku had too many talents and [expletive] just came so easy to him.
