Can anybody argue the Panthers haven't been the winners of the FA period so far?
Sure.
How about the Jets? They probably got the best offensive free agent in Santonio Holmes and if they end up with Aso...forget about throwing the ball against their defense.
I mean, the Panthers GM has already spent over 100 mil but I guess you gotta spend to win. Personally, I think too much was spent on Johnson. I mean, 72 mil ($30 million guaranteed signing bonus) is too much for a guy that has had one very good year. If he becomes a stud...no one will care about the money spent but def a gamble. Then you gave your LB (Davis), who is coming off consecutive ACL tears, a 5 year deal...oh, and he's 28 years old.

Their defense is ok. Rush def is solid but their pass defense is terrible. It's not as good as the Jet's defense at all.
Jets pwned NE last season

Huh? We'll be challenging every team in our division. It all depends on how Cam Newton pans out, if he'll be half as good as his potential this team has a chance to go a LONG way in the future. We've got a new HC and a whole new system that everybody has to learn in a short time so it may not be pretty at the beginning of the season, but when we get it down we'll be hard to beat. & we've got some of the BEST young players in the NFL locked up for the next 5-6 years... We'll be a team to be reckoned with again soon.To do nothing in their division, panthers aren't going to do [expletive]
@ Arizona Cardinals - Win
Vs Green Bay Packers - Loss
Vs Jacksonville Jaguars - Win
@ Chicago Bears - Loss
Vs New Orleans Saints - Loss
@ Atlanta Falcons - Loss
Vs Washington Redskins - Win
Vs Minnesota Vikings - Win
Vs Tennessee Titans - Win
@ Detroit Lions - Win
@ Indianapolis Colts - Loss
@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Loss
Vs Atlanta Falcons - Loss
@ Houston Texans - Loss
Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Win
@ New Orleans Saints - Loss
At the worst I think we'll be 7-9 this year. I would say 8-8 though. To bad we play in the hardest division in the NFL... Or we could be a playoff team this year.

So Bucs give a 19 million dollar contract to a... punter. LOL

Lol, that is like the packers spending $15 million dollars on a field goal kicker who is not even that good.
Am I the only one on this forum who thinks the eagles are still going to be the three seed in the nfc I think the packers and falcons are going to finish ahead of them.

I'm not sure about the Packers, but I could easily see the Falcons finishing ahead of them. IMO the Falcons are still better than the Eagles.Lol, that is like the packers spending $15 million dollars on a field goal kicker who is not even that good.
