waste your Data if you are on a data plan? i am on a 200mb data plan and i was wondering if sending pictures via text waste any part of my data plan, thanks!

No. That's an MMS, so check your text messaging plan and verify that it includes MMS coverage.

It shouldn't, since your phone's data plan and the texting plan are totally separate.

okay cool thanks. i just downloaded the AT&T app for iphone to check how much data i used, said i used 1.16MB. then i sent a picture out to a friend then received one and its still at 1.16MB :D

thats what i thought at first because my other phone could not receive any pictures even though i had unlimited texting

Depends on carrier, from the two i've worked at Sprint & Verizon both used data for Picture Messaging so double check with your carrier just in case
